Experimental Investigation of Defective Ball Bearings with Vibration Analyzer

Abstract

Vibration analysis of rolling-element bearings under a dynamic loading model, using time- and frequency-domain measurements from a vibration analyzer. Non-defective bearings showed a smooth, decreasing velocity trend; defective bearings showed an interruptive upward trend useful for defect detection.
